Week of April 30, 2012

Exciting events in our classroom: We had a great time at the Visitor's Center.  Dr. Gruhl put on a nice session for us about botany and then we went for a scavenger hunt along the trail outside.  The spring concert is coming up this Friday.  The students and Ms. Betzold have been working very hard on preparing for it.  I hope that you will be able to come and enjoy it too! I have almost all of the Flat Stanleys sent out.  I'm excited to see what we will receive back in the mail!  Thanks for helping out with the addresses. We are planning a class service project to raise money for an organization that we choose.  It looks like we will probably be having a bake sale to do this.  I will send him a note later this week to let you know more about it.
