Week of April 23, 2012

Exciting events in our classroom: We will be going to the Visitor's Center for a program about botany next Thursday.  The programs have been very good in the past, so I'm excited for us to attend this one. I'm still missing a few report cards.  Please sign them and get them back to me as soon as you can.  If you have any questions, please contact me. We have been working on our fluency through Read to Others and Reader's Theatre.  The students have been doing well and getting better at trying to figure out the expression behind the words.  I recently read the students the book, Flat Stanley, for fun.  We are now making our own Flat Stanleys to send out to friends and relatives and hopefully go on an adventure of their own.  I'm asking that each student bring in an address of someone they can send their Flat Stanley to by this Friday, April 27.                CLASSROOM WISH LIST               electric pencil sharpener
