Week of 4-2-12

Exciting events in our classroom: Our Liturgy went great last week.  The students did a very nice job!  Tomorrow is the end of 3rd Quarter.  I will be sending home report cards next Friday, April 13.  We will also be doing our reading fluency tests this week. I would like all Native American projects brought home by the end of this week, so we can make room for new things.  Thank you for your help with this!  We will be dyeing Easter eggs with our Kindergarten Buddies on Thursday afternoon.  We are looking forward to a fun time with them again!

Focus areas for the week: Religion – Holy Week Language Arts - Daily 5/CAFE, Guided Reading, finish folktales, suffixes Math – Factors and Multiples (Please keep practicing your math facts!) Social Studies - WI becomes a state! Science - landforms and continents Spelling List weather sixes surface instead possible problems certainly important already English
