Week of April 30, 2012

Exciting events in our classroom:
  • We had a great time at the Visitor's Center.  Dr. Gruhl put on a nice session for us about botany and then we went for a scavenger hunt along the trail outside.
  • The spring concert is coming up this Friday.  The students and Ms. Betzold have been working very hard on preparing for it.  I hope that you will be able to come and enjoy it too!
  • I have almost all of the Flat Stanleys sent out.  I'm excited to see what we will receive back in the mail!  Thanks for helping out with the addresses.
  • We are planning a class service project to raise money for an organization that we choose.  It looks like we will probably be having a bake sale to do this.  I will send him a note later this week to let you know more about it.
  • I'm still missing a few report cards.  Please sign them and get them back to me as soon as you can.  If you have any questions, please contact me.
