Week of February 27, 2012

Exciting events in our classroom: The pizza sale has been extended through this Friday, March 2.  Please turn in your sales by this date! Thanks to all who were able to attend the sock hop in support of our school.  It was a fun time! This Friday, March 2, Father Paul will be providing a server training for all Catholic 4th graders during school.  I'm excited that many students will soon have the opportunity to serve at mass!

Focus areas for the week: Religion – Beatitudes; Lent Language Arts - Daily 5/CAFE - finish one "good fit" book - compound words Math – Test on multiplication.  We will be moving on to long division then.  Wish us luck!  (Please keep practicing your math facts!)Social Studies - Make mukaks; French explorers and missionaries Science - Recycling; landforms and continents Spelling List themselves begin minute remembering common knowing defined though placed exceptions

Dates to Remember: March 2 - Server training during school March 12 - 16 - Spring Break
