Week of February 13, 2011

Exciting events in our classroom: Please check that your child is reading at least one chapter in their "good fit" book each night.  We saw a nice improvement in comprehension last quarter, and I hope to continue on that path! We will have our Valentine's Day Party on Tuesday, Feb. 14th from 2:15-2:45.  Students may bring Valentine's for everyone in the class on Monday or Tuesday.  Treats and things to drink to share with the class are also welcome!

Focus areas for the week: Religion – Chapter 6/compassion Language Arts - Daily 5/CAFE - finish one "good fit" book - consonant blends Math – Multiplication of factors with two or more digits (Please help your child practice their facts!)
