Exciting events in our classroom: - We are leading this week's Liturgy. All parents and other relatives and friends are invited to attend our mass on Wednesday at 9:00. We will be celebrating the baptism of Jesus and having our own pretend baptism.
- Your child should be reading their "approved" book for 20 minutes each night. I've been working with them to pick out a book that matches their skill level and interest. Some students are reading different books at school and at home and others are bringing their book back and forth to read each day. Please help remind them each night to read their approved book. This is a great way to work on their reading comprehension!
It's hard to believe but 2nd quarter will be ending on January 19th. Please keep an eye on your student's assignments and encourage them to do any missing ones. Catholic School's Week is coming up at the end of this month. You will be receiving information about this later this week. One thing that we will be doing is creating a theme basket for the silent auction. I will be asking each student to bring something in for our basket based on our theme. We have not chosen what that will be yet but I will let you know when we do. We are beginning to run low on snacks again, so please start sending in a snack to share for 3rd quarter with your child.
