Week of December 12, 2011

Exciting events in our classroom:
  • The Christmas Program turned out wonderful on Friday night.  Thanks to Ms. Betzold for her hard work and all my students that put their best efforts in to make it so nice!
  • We had a fun pizza party on Friday. With the guidance of Ms. Montano,  we were able to make homemade pizzas that were very yummy.  We enjoyed working with our Kindergarten buddies too!  Thank you Ms. Montano, Mr. Maynes, and Ms. Zifko for all your help!
  • The Baby Jesus Birthday Party is coming up this Thursday afternoon.  At this party we will be celebrating the upcoming birth of Jesus by collecting baby items for The BRICK, making cards for people at the nursing home, and enjoy a birthday cake in honor of Jesus.  So far I haven't received any donations of baby items.  If you are able to send in anything for those in need, please do so.  Some of the items they are in need of are baby food, diapers, wipes, and baby shampoo.
  • I plan to do our Safe and Sacred lesson on Tuesday of this week.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
