Thank you for all your help in making sure your child has their planner signed each night and their homework done.  It is nice to have notes from some of you in the planners too.  I really like how the planners work as a communication device between me, your child, and you!  Here's what's going on in the classroom of your 4th Grade Rock Star:

Language Arts
  I have finished reading assessments, so we will soon begin our first class book, Mr. Popper's Penguins.  I will also be helping students to continue to pick books at their personal reading level to read during Read to Self time and at home.  I will be sending home a spelling activity most weeks for you to work on with your child.  It will help give them extra practice and will help them on their spelling test. 

Grading
   I will soon be sending home links by email (or by your student if I do not have your email address) for my online grading system, called Engrade.  You can use the link to keep track of your student's grades.
